Gabriella Apollonio is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Prior to her experience at the Santa Barbara Skin Institute, she practiced locally in Urgent Care where she gained an acute ability to diagnose and treat urgent medical dermatology cases.
Gabi was raised in Irvine, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She subsequently completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA where she completed two internships in Dermatology.
Gabi offers a wide variety of care including full-body skin exams, skin cancer detection, rashes, acne treatment, skin lesion removals, injectable neuromodulators, dermal fillers, lasers, and Ultherapy. She is passionate about skincare and strives to make each patient feel comfortable and heard while helping them achieve their optimal skin health and beauty. She is a member of the California Association of Physician Assistants and also the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is currently working on completing the Diplomatic Fellowship Course.
She currently resides in Santa Barbara with her significant other and her dog (son) Frankie. They enjoy spending their free time at the dog beach, running, camping and wine tasting.
